Fabrics: Rip Block

Created using a reinforcing technique that makes the material resistant to tearing and ripping.

This tough material is made by impregnating a 100% polyester base fabric with an acrylic chemical, making the product waterproof, less prone to rotting, and resistant to UV degradation. Rip Block™ canvas is woven in a block construction, increasing the fabric strength and limiting continuous-tear potential. Rip Block™ canvas is not a solution-dyed product and will start to fade when exposed to the elements; however, easy application dyes are available to brighten up the fabric and restore its original colour.
